About CoinList

CoinList is where early adopters trade and earn the best digital assets

CoinList is a ICO and crypto exchange platform headquartered in San Francisco, California and was founded in 2017.

My experience participating in an ICO on Coinlist

I use Coinlist primarily to take part in Initial Coin Offerings (ICO).

The first ICO I took part in was for Mina Protocol and the response was overwhelming. 375,000 Coinlist customers registered interest to purchase the tokens and only 40,500 customers managed to get any due to limited token availability.

Hours before the token sale starting time, functionality on the Coinlist website was reduced in order to cope with the anticipated huge volume of site visitors.

I logged in to the Coinlist site an hour earlier than the token sale time and was placed into a ‘waiting room’.

When the sale timing was reached, I was given a random queue number and waited another 45mins or so before it was my turn in the queue.

But the webpage refused to load and I kept getting timeout errors and a blank page. I must have refreshed the browser like 20-30 times across 15-20 minutes before I finally managed to view the purchase page and place my order.

I did not have to deposit funds beforehand into Coinlist to purchase. After placing the purchase order, I was actually given a couple of days to send funds to my Coinlist wallet to complete the purchase.

I actually made two separate purchases. One with USDC I had in my Coinlist wallet and another with USDT which I deposited into Coinlist before the deadline
