Chocolate Top-Up Programme and its Qualifying Period

The Top-Up Programme is a promotional incentive. It’s been put in place so clients can enjoy a full 4.2% p.a. return on their first S$20k during the qualifying period. This means, if for some reason, the portfolio underperforms, the difference will be topped up so clients enjoy the target return.

The Qualifying Period is from now until 31 December 2024, or until the assets under management for the Chocolate Managed Account reach S$500 million – whichever comes first.

Chocolate reserves the right to make changes to the Qualifying Period at any time, without prior notice.

Risk disclosure: This programme does not constitute a guarantee of capital or returns. Chocolate has the right to pause or stop the programme at any time due to market disruption, over-utilisation of the programme, excessive withdrawals, exchange restrictions, or other unexpected force majeure events.

Business model

Your money is invested into a portfolio of fixed-income funds carefully selected to optimise risk-adjusted returns based on factors like duration, yield to maturity, credit quality and currency.

Chocolate Finance makes money when the fund outperforms the target return. If returns are higher than the target 4.2% p.a on the first S$20k or 3.5% p.a. on amounts above S$20k, Chocolate Finance takes the excess as an outperformance fee (between 0-2%, depending on how much the portfolio outperforms).

Should the funds’ return achieve more than 2% p.a. above the target return, it will be distributed to the clients.

Chocfin Pte Ltd (202347190R) is a Capital Market Services (CMS101452) licence holder regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
