SMS Sender ID
BigFundr complies with IMDA’s Full SMS Sender ID Registry regime and uses the registered sender ID “BIGFUNDR” for official SMS communications, including OTP messages.
Sign-Up Experience & Onboarding
SingPass MyInfo Registration
BigFundr supports onboarding via SingPass MyInfo, which reduces manual form-filling.
After registration, accounts undergo Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks, typically completed within 1–3 business days.
Depositing Funds & Deal Allocation
Deposits require verification before becoming available for investment. As some deals may be fully subscribed quickly, investors may choose to fund their account in advance and monitor upcoming deals.
Capital Safeguards & Risk Structure
Legal Charge Over Property
BigFundr holds first legal charge over the underlying real estate for its loans. In the event of borrower default, the property may be liquidated to recover funds, with BigFundr having priority claim, subject to the relevant legal and recovery processes.
Personal Guarantees
Loans may benefit from personal guarantees by the borrower entity, allowing recourse in case of shortfall, subject to deal terms and enforceability.
Buy-Back Provisions
Certain loans may involve buy-back arrangements with fund management companies, depending on the specific deal structure and documentation.
